TARA general meeting called to order June 14, 2003 at the Zephyr Cove Library, Zephyr Cove, NV by President Paul, WA6EWV. 1. Meeting opened at 1:00 PM with 17 self introductions. 2. Paul phoned Mauro, WA6SIM for treasurer's report. Paper work not available. 3. Secretary's minutes filed as read. 4. John, KC7AGI gave the follow up on AMBBR and acknowdged our participation for the September ride. 5. Jo Ann, N7MBM will follow up on the nets with an invitation to Turtle Rock Park July 8 to help with the bagging for the Death Ride event. Paul stresses members are encouraged to remain on their post during the actual Death Ride event as insurance coverage from ARRL does not cover SAG trips for this or any of the other events for which we volunteer to provide communication. 6. "Chief" Ambassador Jo Ann encourages all members to join her and become an ambassador by monitoring our repeater and offering information and a welcome to visitors using our repeater. 7. Birthday card signed for George Lyle, K7ZAU on his 92nd birthday. 8. Matt, W7KJU was not present to receive the $50.00 drawing. Meeting closed 2:05 PM.
